1. Free Rodent Inspection
A Myles technician will inspect the property for signs of rodent activity, potential entry points, and other conditions that may help us understand what you're experiencing.
We'll look at the situation as a whole rather than assuming that every noise in the attic or dropping in the garage requires the same treatment.
2. Findings & Recommended Next Steps
After the inspection, we'll explain what we found and what we recommend.
You'll receive a quote based on the work appropriate for your property. That may involve trapping, exclusion, Rodent Maintenance, or a combination of services depending on the situation.
3. Trapping and/or Exclusion
When rodents are already inside, trapping may be recommended before exclusion work is completed.
In other situations, exclusion may be the appropriate next step without trapping first.
The process depends on what the technician finds during the inspection rather than following the same sequence at every home.
4. Rodent Maintenance When Appropriate
For homeowners who want continued help managing rat and mouse activity around the exterior of the property, we also offer Rodent Maintenance using exterior bait stations.
Rodent Maintenance can be used as a standalone service or bundled with other Myles services.
Recurring pest control every four months helps maintain protection against common North Texas pests as seasons and conditions around your home change.
Rodent Exclusion
Rodent exclusion focuses on addressing accessible openings that rats, mice, or other animals may be using to enter a structure.
The amount and type of exclusion work can vary considerably from one home to another. That's why we don't assume every property needs the same repairs.
During the inspection, we'll look for potential access points and determine what work is appropriate.
Depending on the situation, we may recommend trapping first and completing exclusion afterward. In other cases, exclusion may be completed without trapping.
The goal is to address accessible entry points and reduce opportunities for rodents to get back inside.
Rodent Maintenance
Rodent Maintenance is designed for homeowners who want continued help managing rat and mouse activity around the exterior of their property.
Exterior bait stations are strategically placed around the property based on your home's environmental factors. A Myles technician returns every four months to check the stations and refill bait as needed.
For convenience, Rodent Maintenance is billed monthly. Monthly billing does not mean a technician visits the property every month; scheduled Rodent Maintenance service is performed every four months.
Rodent Maintenance can be used as a standalone service, bundled with other services such as general pest control, or as continued protection following trapping and exclusion work.
Rodent Maintenance is specifically for rats and mice. Wildlife such as squirrels requires a different approach.
Squirrel Removal & Exclusion
Scratching or movement in an attic isn't always caused by rats or mice. Squirrels can also find openings around rooflines and other exterior areas that allow them to enter attics and protected spaces.
Squirrel service begins with an inspection to determine where activity is occurring and how the animal may be getting inside.
Depending on the situation, our technicians may use traps or one-way doors to address squirrel activity. Exclusion work may also be recommended to address accessible entry points.
Because every structure and situation is different, we'll explain what we find and build the recommended next steps around the property.
Other Wildlife Problems
