How Pest Control With Myles Works
Effective pest control starts with understanding what’s happening around the property rather than simply treating the pest you happen to see.
We Start With What You’re Seeing
Our technicians begin by looking at the pest activity you’ve noticed and the areas where the problem is occurring.
Depending on the pest, we may look for active pest activity, potential entry points, hiding areas, food or moisture sources, and other conditions that could be contributing to the problem.
We Explain What We Find
Once we understand what’s happening, we explain what we’re seeing and recommend the appropriate service or treatment.
Different pests require different approaches, and not every home needs exactly the same thing.
We Treat the Areas That Matter
Treatment is based on the pest, where activity is occurring, and conditions around your home.
Our technicians apply products according to label directions and can also point out practical changes that may help reduce conditions contributing to pest activity.
We Continue Managing Activity When Needed
Pest activity changes throughout the year, which is why recurring service can be useful for common household pests.
Our Silver and Gold recurring pest control plans are serviced every four months, with interior treatments performed as needed.
Recurring Pest Control Options
For homeowners who want ongoing control of common household pests, Myles offers two recurring general pest control plans.
Silver Pest Control
Our Silver Plan covers 28 common pests in and on the home, including nuisance ants, several types of cockroaches, non-venomous spiders, and common crawling pests.
Service is performed every four months, with interior treatment as needed.
Gold Pest Control
Our Gold Plan expands coverage to 43 pests in and on the home. In addition to broader ant, cockroach, spider, and crawling-pest coverage, Gold includes certain pests not covered under Silver.
Service is performed every four months, with interior treatment as needed.
Rather than trying to compare a long list of pests here, you can see the plans side by side, review current pricing, and choose the coverage that fits your home.

Do You Need Recurring or One-Time Pest Control?
Not every pest problem requires the same service.
One-time treatments are available for certain household pest problems and include a 60-day warranty. Recurring service is designed for homeowners who don't want to worry about pests coming back throughout the year.
Recurring service also allows our technicians to continue addressing pest activity as weather, seasons, and conditions around your property change.
If you’re not sure which makes sense for what you’re seeing, you don’t have to decide before contacting us. Tell us what’s going on, and our team can help you determine the appropriate option.
Why Recurring Pest Control Makes Sense in North Texas
Pest pressure isn’t the same in January as it is in July.
Temperature, rainfall, moisture, available food, and other conditions around a property can all influence when and where pests become active. A home that has very little activity during one part of the year can experience something completely different as conditions change.
Recurring pest control gives us an opportunity to manage covered pest activity throughout those changes instead of waiting for each new problem to become established.
Our recurring general pest control plans are serviced every four months, and interior treatments are performed when needed.
What Can You Do to Help Reduce Pest Activity?
Professional treatment is only one part of managing pests around a home. Small changes around the property can sometimes make it less attractive to insects and other pests.
Reduce Unnecessary Moisture
Leaks, standing water, and areas that remain damp can create favorable conditions for a variety of pests.
Limit Food Sources
Clean up spills and crumbs, store food appropriately, and keep trash and pet food from becoming easy food sources.
Reduce Entry Points
Accessible gaps around doors, windows, plumbing, utility penetrations, and other openings can give pests a way inside.
Tell Us What You’re Seeing
Where and when you notice pest activity can give your technician useful information.
If ants appear around one particular window, cockroaches are showing up near a specific bathroom, or you're finding spiders repeatedly in the garage, let us know. Those details can help us understand what may be happening around your home.
Pest Control With Children and Pets in Mind
We use treatment methods with children and pets in mind. Our technicians apply products according to label directions and explain any precautions you should take before, during, or after service.
Those precautions can vary depending on the treatment being performed, so your technician will let you know what applies to your service.
